Staging your Home

When you get ready to place your home on the market for sale it becomes a product.  Your product has features and benefits as well as pluses and minuses and there is always competition.  In order to compete with the competition in the marketplace the product must be priced right and look better then the other products for sale.  This is where staging comes in...

Staging is not decorating, it's clearing and packing away all unnecessary extras from your house from furniture to your collectables.  Leaving the house clutter free and clean for new buyers to envision themselves living in the home.

It's takes 8 sections for a buyer to form an opinion on a home, make a lasting first impression on buyers by going room by room and viewing the rooms from a buyers eyes.  Depersonalize by taking down personal family photos so they can picture their own family photos on the walls.

Let's take the kitchen for example.  Clear all unnecessary objects from the kitchen countertops. If it hasn’t been used for three months... put it away! Clear refrigerator fronts of messages, pictures, etc. (A sparse kitchen helps the buyer mentally move their own things into your kitchen.)

Patch and paint where needed, clean carpets, clean windows.

Even the outdoors can be staged!

I invite you to give me a call today, let's get your home staged and ready to place on the market!  608-333-3788
